Specter

This is my design for the character I created for Ben 10: Alien Force, Specter (nickname). The basic info will be in my next image, but I'll just tell you about the drawing process. Except for the brick wall, everything was drawn with the pen tool, so it took a long time. I had wanted to make him look somewhat upset and I thought arms crossed would best express that. I used [link] as a base for his torso, arms, head, ears, and nose. The eyes and hair I did from memory/made up. I was trying to get it to look like he had a red long sleeve shirt and a black t-shirt (didn't want him to look like a rip-off of William from Code Lyoko, but I was having trouble getting it to come out right, so I made to look like a single shirt, obviously custom designed. I also wanted his hair to be white with black tips originally, but it didn't look right. Finally, the logo I made up because I thought he needed something more to him, I debated about making it a mark under his eye and being his Cheshire Cat smile, but I thought that made his shirt too plain.
